Ben Andersen aka "Swookie Monster" is an award winning DJ (Phoenix New Times Best DJ Duo 2013) and has had his music production featured on nationally syndicated radio including Sirius XM. 

 

The dance party initiator and full blown remixed music geek has been a key player in bridging the gaps in what has become a rather fragmented and competitive local DJ scene. 

 

His most recent project with long time friend Eric Hoss, or "Speedy Graffiti," TABS, has received major internet buzz and feedback from a few heavy hitting radio show hosts and taste-making DJs across the country and has accumilated hundreds of thousands of plays on music sites like Soundcloud and Hype Machine.

 

Andersen's career has lead him to open for nationally known artists like The Twelves, Gigamesh, Dave Nada, and One More Time and he's DJ'd the stages of numerous venues including The Rialto Theatre (Tucson, AZ), Livewire (Scottsdale, AZ), U-31 (San Diego, CA), and many more. 

 

Far be it from the night club to completely define Swookie Monster's style, Andersen maintains talents in a variety of music genres, and has been booked to travel for numerous gigs of varying styles all across the United States.
